I am joining the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida in Fall 2022 as a tenure-track assistant professor. I got my B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2012, and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, WI, in 2018. I am currently with C-Motive Technologies, Inc., Madison, a startup company developing capacitively coupled electromechanical power conversion technologies. My research interests lie in electric drive systems, including the application of artificial intelligence, IoT, parallel computing, and advanced manufacturing to reduce the carbon footprint of electric machines and drives throughout their lifetime.
